Wheat and Tares Case Study

 The wheat and tares are contrasts of each other but look alikes. The old two-decided question that can't be answered. Why can't we tell the wheat from the tares? We're not talking about grain, we're talking about appearance and reality we can't tell apart either. One obvious way to see the problem is in an actor performing a part. The part is a script written by a writer and performed in a scene staged with takes, retakes, lighting, costumes and a background set to be convincing. Translated from acting the next most obvious Appearance/Reality confusion is politics, all of which works on contrast. So one party might seem preferable to another by contrast. At least they're not THAT, the appearance goes, but they're something else, unknown, elected by contrast of what they're not. But what are they? Critics say by their fruits you know them. So and so is against abortion but for war? So and so speaks for the public but is one of the elite? These impersonations literally never end. The citizen may ask, what then can I do? For the inability to tell appearance and reality apart may seem hopeless. But the answer of what to do is always the same, fix your borders, which means look out for your neighbors, pick up paper in your street, care for your own, resist lawlessness. That last has been made to sound fascist, racist, sexist, and in the end humanist, as if lawlessness were a positive, but  it is only so to the levels of appearance made complex to indoctrinate the young and steal the future. all of this is cognitive. It is as you think that you be.

The hardest part of the wheat and tares identity is when the two are combined in one, which is a human dilemma, the mixture of good and evil, especially the difference between public and private, for we only know wheat and tares in their public appearances. We don't know the private, but among the tares the private is the sticking point. Do not be alone in a room with a tare. We think this has most to do with religious figures, who unveiled are petty, mean, greedy, self-serving, you know the drill, but on stage are delightful entertainers, especially of women and children, easiest to fool. I told you borders were sexist.

We are so utterly caught in our own web but at the same time it is also somehow wound around us too. It becomes synchronist when we realize that it is both our own choosing and something more. So if you have a peculiar history in some regard, say enthusiast religion stemming from genuine experience of transcendence, and you start to seek where it leads in the world, then you are going to come up against the more beautiful counterfeits that also somehow do you good. Like chaff meant to hold the wheat in place while it ripens but that the wind drives away.

There is a pyramid of authority among those leaders who have worked hard to qualify for their position. Scratch the patina and you will find misdoing and deception. That's how they qualify to their superiors.We're not talking about how they qualify to their followers who have a lower standard of delusion. One Reformed pastor prayed to Satan at his grand daughter's baptism 11/23/15, said, "we pray oh Lord that you will not destroy us." But Satan will, that's his desire. Yahweh's desire is to rescue us, protect us, love us, and he plans to give us hope. Sometimes the meaning slips out among the leaders, like at this charismatic men's retreat, who said, "We are all part of the body and when you speak DEATH about one of its members you are speaking death to your own self.  Do not touch God's anointed with words of death because you will eat of them." It is the nature of weeds to be aggressive. 

Sheep among wolves. Tares among wheat. The wolf lies down with the lamb is what Dante calls the shepherd wolf.
